Updated to reflect current style change. Everything is much softer, less complicated, and less...terrible :XD: I know a lot of people were'nt a fan of the May 2010 changes, and in hindsight, I can see why :XD: let's just forget it eeeeeeeeever happened...unless looking at this piece, a reminder of what not to do :)

*****

:bulletblue:2000: High school- Loren and I made cheap comics together with our friends in High school, often at the expense of geometry grades. Throughout these years, a yeti was a commonly recurring character, and over time his look and personality evolved tenfold.

:bulletblue:2006: A Practical Guide to Yetis- In an effort to resurrect the comics of old, and as a surprise gift for my friends, I set about (in between college projects) to make a book that would once and for all chronicle the yeti hierarchy and lifestyles. One of these sepcies, the Rocky Mountain Yeti, was a further design of the old, along with several new ones created to fill the 25 pages of my mini-book, “A Practical Guide to Yetis”.

:bulletblue:2007: Everyday Grind Concept- Following on the success of the Yeti Guide, I decided to try and follow my dream of making a much higher quality comic, with recurring characters and stories. Once again borrowing the yeti character of old, I decided he needed companions, and made Figs and Norman to balance him out. No comics were ever made in this style.

:bulletblue:Sept 2008: First Comics- I asked that Loren join me as my editor, and the first comic was born. I decided to trash it after how bad it looked, and Jamie was created soon after as a new character.

:bulletblue:Feb 2009: The Dark Ages- 24 comics were made in this style. Only after the 24th was nearing completion, did Loren and I come to agree that the comics were utter trash. Neither of us were happy with them, and they didn't fit into my vision of what I wanted. The 24 were cancelled, and only around 5 people have ever seen them, including Loren and I. Referred to as generation 1 comics, or the "dark age" comics, they were never released, and serve to me as a reminder of what NOT to do when making a comic.

:bulletblue:May 2009: Series Reboot- I spent a while redesigning all the characters looks, back stories, and current story. The old comic was not funny, too complicated, and not at all what I wanted, so most everything was changed. These comics are generation 2, and what are posted here.

:bulletblue:Aug 2009: Cell Shading- In a further effort to make the comic better, I introduced a cell shaded style, starting at comic #21. The comics were released to the public in October, with the introduction of the unlucky #24.

:bulletblue:Jan 2010: New years- Following the success of the comics release, I introduced a newer style on New Years day. Greater details, brighter colors, better design.

:bulletblue:May 2010: New Vision- Following a massive amount of trades and single celled pieces, I decided that the comic looked cheap in comparison to all my other work. So I set about making the hardest style reboot yet, which will be debuted in comic form with the release of #36.

:bulletblue: Jan 2011: Back to basics! I had realized that the style was too overly complicated, and stale. My idea was to go back to a simpler, cuter style, and hopefully make everything more streamlined.

Hello everyone!

Something to pass the time while I finish comic 36, a look back at the main 4, and how much they have changed over the years! It is so surreal to look at this, it makes me happy, sad, and everything in between to see this.

Everyone has changed so much, and as proud as I am of what they look like now, what will I think in another 10 years, as I look back on this?

Only time will tell :aww:
